best priority pass lounges in the world 2026
A working reference of the best Priority Pass airport lounges globally. Anchored to the official 2026 + 2025 Priority Pass Excellence Awards (selected from 700k+ member reviews), with a curated list of always-excellent picks (Al Mourjan, Marhaba, Plaza Premium, Etihad, IGA) that didn't win a recent award but are widely agreed to be at the top of the PP network.
Escape Lounge, Portland (PDX) — 2026 Global Lounge of the Year. PDX's most reliable PP option; if you're transiting the US Pacific Northwest, this is it.
Vienna Lounge (VIE) — 2024, 2025, and 2026 Europe winner. Held the European crown for 3 years running. Quality is consistent, food is excellent, and the Schengen Terminal 1 location means easy access for most EU itineraries.
Al Mourjan Business Lounge, Doha (DOH) — long-regarded as the best PP lounge in the world. Massive space, runway views, full mezze + a la carte grill. Not in 2025/2026 awards (it doesn't need the marketing), but universally top-tier in any priority-pass tier list.
What this list is for: ishmael is leaving for Europe in early July 2026 with a Chase Sapphire Reserve (PP Select + Chase Sapphire Lounge access). The page started as a research note for "where to actually spend my layover time," then expanded. ★★ = one of the best globally. ★ = solid. (No mark = utilitarian but PP-eligible.)

Always-excellent picks (not in recent awards, but widely top-tier)
These are the lounges that consistently appear in OMAAT, View From The Wing, and ThePointsGuy "best PP" lists year after year, but didn't win a 2025 or 2026 Excellence Award — usually because the awards are reviews-of-reviews and these don't need the publicity. ★★ = universally top-tier globally. ★ = solid. (Blank) = utilitarian but PP-eligible.

Why it's on the list
Al Mourjan Business Lounge
DOH
Qatar
★★
Arabic mezze + a la carte grill
Long-regarded as the best PP lounge in the world. Massive space, runway views, full mezze + a la carte grill. Not in 2025/2026 awards (it doesn't need the marketing). Doha is the natural ME transit hub — if you have a long layover here, this is where you spend it.
Marhaba Lounge
DXB
UAE
★★
Hot buffet + full bar
Largest single PP lounge globally. Multiple DXB locations. DXB is the natural ME transit hub if you're not routing via Doha.
Etihad Lounge
AUH
UAE
★★
Buffet + premium bar
Premium, often-cited PP top-tier. AUH is the third leg of the Gulf triangle.
Plaza Premium First
HKG
Hong Kong
★
A la carte dining + noodle bar
Often cited as APAC's best PP. Plaza Premium is a global chain with consistent quality.
Plaza Premium
TPE
Taiwan
★
Asian + Western buffet
Most reliable TPE PP option. T2 location.
Plaza Premium
SIN
Singapore
★
Hot buffet + noodle bar
Singapore's most reliable PP option. Changi T1.
IGA Lounge
IST
Turkey
★
Turkish live cooking stations + mezze
One of the largest PP lounges globally (live cooking + sleeping pods; 24-hour access; 4-hr max stay). Operated by the airport itself (IGA = Istanbul Grand Airport). Istanbul's flagship PP option — make this your layover stop if you have 4+ hours. Note: the older Primeclass lounge at IST is a separate (smaller) PP option.
Primeclass Lounge
IST
Turkey
★
Turkish live cooking + mezze
Secondary IST PP option. Related to the Primeclass brand that won the EMEA 2025 award at MCT (Muscat) — the IST location is a separate (smaller) build. If IGA Lounge is full, fall back to this.
Thai Royal Orchid Lounge
BKK
Thailand
★
Thai + international buffet
Strong BKK PP pick. Suvarnabhumi Concourse D.
Miracle Lounge
BKK
Thailand
★
Thai + Western buffet
BKK has multiple PP options across Concourses D, F, and G — Miracle is one of the more reliable brands.
Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club
BOS
USA
Curated Boston-inspired menu + full bar
Newer US entry; wellness area + spa. The Chase Sapphire lounge network is expanding aggressively (JFK, LGA, PHL, plus international) — keep an eye on this brand for future expansion.
Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse
JFK
USA
A la carte dining + cocktail menu
Stylish, but PP access is limited to off-peak hours only (typically 4 PM – 10:30 PM). Read the fine print before planning. Note: the Amex-only Refresh Rooms are off-limits to PP/CSR holders (Amex Plat perk).
Next best — solid options (a tier below the always-excellent picks)
These are the "next ring" of Priority Pass lounges — solid options that consistently rate 4+ on the PP app but didn't make the top tier. Useful when you're at an airport that's not in the main list, or when the top-tier options are full. Includes workhorse brands (Aspire, Plaza Premium, Primeclass, Escape, SATS, SkyTeam) at airports where they're the most reliable PP option. Marked on the map with a slate-gray dot.

Aspire Lounge
LHR
London Heathrow
UK
next best
Hot food + full bar
3 hr
Swissport's Aspire brand is the workhorse of UK/Europe PP. Solid all-rounder at LHR T3 — showers, hot food, decent drinks selection. Often crowded at peak (8-10am, 5-7pm).
Plaza Premium
LHR
London Heathrow
UK
next best
Noodle bar + buffet
3 hr
Plaza Premium's LHR T2 location is the better of the two LHR Plaza options (T2 is newer, less crowded). A la carte noodle bar is a differentiator.
No1 Lounges
LHR
London Heathrow
UK
next best
British-inspired menu
3 hr
UK-based No1 Lounges brand. Smaller than Aspire but food is often cited as better (cooked-to-order options).
Primeclass Lounge
FRA
Frankfurt
Germany
next best
German hot + cold buffet
3 hr
Primeclass brand at FRA. Solid option for a hub that doesn't have many PP-only standout lounges.
Primeclass Lounge
CPH
Copenhagen
Denmark
next best
Scandinavian + international buffet
3 hr
Nordic region's most reliable PP option. CPH is a small airport so the Primeclass is easy to find.
Escape Lounge
SFO
San Francisco
USA
next best
Local Bay Area menu
3 hr
Same Escape brand that took Global 2026 (PDX) and APAC Highly Commended (MCI). SFO is one of the brand's stronger US locations.
The Lounge
MIA
Miami
USA
next best
Cuban + American buffet
3 hr
MIA's best PP option (the airport has several PP lounges but Concourse D is the most reliable). Strong food, decent space.
Aspire Lounge
ORD
Chicago O'Hare
USA
next best
American + international
3 hr
ORD's PP scene is dominated by United/Delta clubs that don't take PP. Aspire at T3 Concourse L is the most reliable option.
Plaza Premium
MNL
Manila
Philippines
next best
Filipino + international buffet
3 hr
Manila's only Plaza Premium. MNL is a small airport so this is the default PP option for most layovers.
SATS Premier Lounge
SIN
Singapore
Singapore
next best
Singaporean + international
3 hr
SATS is the home-grown Singapore lounge brand. SIN T2's Plaza Premium is the more famous one, but SATS T2 is solid and less crowded.
Plaza Premium
KUL
Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia
next best
Malaysian + international
3 hr
KUL's most reliable PP option. KLIA T1 is the main terminal for international flights.
The Coral Executive Lounge
HKT
Phuket
Thailand
next best
Thai + international
3 hr
Coral is a Thai brand with consistent quality across multiple airports (BKK, HKT, CNX, USM). HKT's Coral is the go-to PP option on the resort island.
Pearl Lounge
CMN
Casablanca
Morocco
next best
Moroccan + international
3 hr
Morocco's flagship PP option. Frequent travelers consistently rate Pearl high — it punches above its weight for a regional African hub.
Primeclass Lounge
TBS
Tbilisi
Georgia
next best
Georgian + European
3 hr
Tbilisi is a Caucasus hub; Primeclass is the only PP option. Brand is consistent (see IST, MCT, RIX).
SkyTeam Lounge
BAH
Bahrain
Bahrain
next best
Arabic + international
3 hr
Bahrain's only PP option. SkyTeam brand is consistent across Gulf/Middle East (also in DOH, RUH, KWI). Gulf's second-tier hubs all use this brand.
How I picked these: cross-referenced OMAAT, ThePointsGuy, and Reddit r/PriorityPass community-favorite lists, plus my own working knowledge of which PP brands (Aspire, Plaza Premium, Primeclass, Escape, SATS, SkyTeam, Pearl, Coral, No1) are consistent at their other locations. A brand that wins an award at one airport (e.g. Escape PDX 2026 Global) often runs similar-quality locations at other airports (e.g. SFO, ORD, MKE, BNA, MCI) that are still good PP options.
How Priority Pass access works (and the catches)
Membership types: Standard ($99/yr, $32/visit), Standard Plus ($329/yr, 10 free visits), Prestige ($469/yr, unlimited). Most credit-card PP-Select memberships (Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture X, Citi Prestige) get you unlimited visits — but the lounge may cap your stay.
Max stay: most PP lounges cap at 3 hours per visit; a few (IGA IST, Marhaba DXB) allow 4 hours. Some (e.g. lounge networks) don't formally cap but will get pushy at the 4-hour mark.
Access timing: most PP lounges only allow entry 3 hours before departure. You can't sleep overnight in a PP lounge, even on a 14-hour layover — the 3-hour clock starts at your entry time, not your flight time.
Capacity caps: PP lounges can (and will) deny entry at capacity. Worst offenders: LAX, LHR T3, JFK T4 during peak. Best: small hubs (CNF, BKK Concourse G, IST off-peak).
Children: under-2 usually free; 2-12 sometimes free, sometimes $10-15. Check the lounge's page before traveling with kids.
Shower suites: in high-traffic lounges (DOH, DXB, IST), you may need to book a shower slot at entry. Don't count on a shower being available if you arrive at peak time.
What PP does not get you: the airline's flagship business/first class lounge (those are still restricted to the airline's own premium cabin passengers and elite status holders). PP is the second tier; the top tier is the airline's own product.
Source CSV (sortable, filterable, all 30 entries)
30 rows covering: 2026 official winners (Global + 5 regional + 3 One to Watch), 2025 official winners (Global + 5 regional + Highly Commended), and the always-excellent picks above. The CSV has 13 columns: rank, region, lounge_name, airport_iata, airport_city, country, terminal, awards, food_highlight, max_stay, connection, notes, source.
Awards lists are based on 700k+ member reviews and may not reflect a given individual's taste. Some "off-list" lounges are excellent; some "on-list" lounges are merely consistent.
PP access rules change frequently — verify on prioritypass.com the day of your flight. Capacity caps, hours, and even lounge closures are not always announced ahead of time.
★ / ★★ marks in this list are based on a mix of the awards, OMAAT, ThePointsGuy, and the openclaw team (ishmael + Moby) — they reflect our working hypothesis, not a formal ranking. The "★★★ best globally" picks (DOH, DXB, AUH) are not in the 2025/2026 awards because they're so consistently good they don't need the marketing.
The 2026 Pioneer and All Star categories were postponed (no public reasoning given, but the war in the Middle East is the likely cause — Muscat, Doha, Dubai are right in the affected zone). The 2025 Pioneer winners (Nice, Riga, Bangalore, KL) are still the most recent winners in those categories.
Lounge hours and terminal locations are valid as of the awards; verify on prioritypass.com before traveling.
