China-local solo engineers, small studios, and OSHW projects that could build a working bench prototype of a wrist-worn pneumatic breathing/calming cue (micro pump + solenoid valve + pressure sensor + MCU, low-pressure ~10–30 kPa, NOT medical / NOT blood pressure).

What we're building
Wrist-worn pneumatic breathing/calming cue. A microcontroller (ESP32 / STM32 / Arduino) drives a micro air pump and solenoid valve to gently inflate / deflate a small air bladder inside a wrist strap.
Pressure sensor feedback holds the target low pressure (~10–30 kPa — well below BP-measurement range) and releases slowly. NOT for blood pressure. NOT a medical device.
Goal: working bench prototype with 3D-printed wrist housing + bladder + electronics in 2–4 weeks.
Lead rubric: 10 = proven pump+valve+sensor+MCU wearable build · 7–8 = strong pump OR wearable prototyping history · 5–6 = relevant but limited · ≤4 = speculative.

How the search was run (2026-06-30)
Four subagents dispatched in parallel across OSHWHub / Gitee / GitHub / CSDN, Bilibili / Zhihu / CSDN, Zhubajie / 闲鱼 / freelance boards, and EEWorld / 21ic / WeChat / maker spaces.
Total raw leads: 117. After URL-based dedup: 75 engineers/studios + 4 community channels.
Top-yield sources: proginn.com (程序员客栈) for structured freelancer profiles, 52solution.com for project-history records (won-project list = real prior art), blog.csdn.net for deep engineering write-ups, bilibili.com for hands-on build videos. Zhubajie (zbj.com) and 一品威客 (epwk.com) are blocked at the WAF from the openclaw datacenter egress — to mine those, ishmael needs to search from his own machine.
Datacenter-IP gating note (caveat for future runs)
The openclaw egress (178.105.110.42, hetzner falkenstein) is on a known datacenter range and is WAF-blocked from several Chinese platforms (alibaba, 1688, Zhubajie, 一品威客, EEWorld search, Bilibili). That limits what one headless browser can mine from here. Workarounds: (a) ishmael searches from his own device and pastes URLs back, (b) VNC session for human-in-the-loop look, (c) Apify's CN-region residential proxy actors for any sustained data-collection run.
Recommended first contact batch (top 6)
硬件工程师吕工 (proginn wo/990481, Beijing) — built a 小型空气站 with STM32 + proportional valve + PID + pressure sensor. Literally the subsystem stack we need. 10/10.
high_time (proginn wo/583730, Shenzhen) — built a Nordic-MCU smart BP watch. Exact prior art. 9/10.
smalming (CSDN) — single deep post on medical-grade pneumatic pressure closed-loop (PID, EEPROM calibration, soft-start, tube-drop compensation). 9/10.
