This page's research was scoped to central Paris private rooms + hostels within the $100/night ceiling, and the ibis brand filter doesn't work on Booking (chaincode is ignored — see "Other 3-star chains" below). ibis La Villette is a 3-star Accor property in the 19th arr, outside the central-Paris search radius used for the tables below. Booking the property direct (Accor / ibis website) is the correct path for this chain; ishmael handled it himself and didn't ask for a price comparison.

The 3-night live data on this page is a subset of the 4-night stay; for the 4th night (Jul 11 → Jul 12) a fresh Booking/Hostelworld pull is needed. The dorm/private conclusion ($100/night = dorm only) is unchanged. Title, meta description, and H1 updated. Verified that $100/night in central Paris = dorm bed only; cheapest private room is $135/night (Au Fleuri, 20th arr, 3.8 km, score 5.3). 25 results from each Booking window; 30 hostels from Hostelworld; 12 Airbnb results (mostly suburban). Compiled to this page with the 4 sources cross-checked.

Option C: 3-star chain hotels in central Paris

Follow-up research (2026-07-01 09:30 UTC) after ishmael asked for chain options specifically. Live property lists scraped from the chains' own websites. Live prices are not included because Astotel and HappyCulture use a central reservation call center (no real-time widget), and Campanile's website requires session cookies for the date-search to return rates. For live Jul 8-10 prices, call the chain or cross-check on Booking.

Note: Booking's chain-brand URL filter (e.g. nflt=chaincode%3D1053,3086,1051,1166,11860) does NOT combine with the price/class filter — the chaincode is ignored and the unfiltered 3-star list is returned.
